These are truly high-level speakers, in this model the famous Seas woofers with copper cone are mounted, top of the range from this famous driver manufacturing company and mounted in many top of the range speakers.
Some models of these speakers have been produced, slightly different, marked Quad and Pininfarina, these are marked by the famous Italian designer and are really beautiful.

The ONE PF (Pininfarina) marks the debut of this extraordinary styling name in the world of prestige hi-fi. Its imprint shines unmistakably from the clean lines, the harmonious shapes, the modeled surfaces which immediately evoke the legendary cars admired all over the world.
The ONE PF cabinet is a jewel of which we are rightly proud; it is made with MDF with thicknesses ranging between 35 and 60 mm, worked with very high precision CNC machines and assembled using extremely tight tolerance joints. But it is not just a beautiful object as nothing of its elegant lines is due to chance: the edges are rounded to minimize diffractions, the front panel is inclined to optimize the timing of the components, the area near the tweeter suitably shaped to improve dispersion and reduce the "baffle" effect.
The finishing process is extremely complex; it begins with the different passages of the various insulators which must make the wood of the structure absolutely inert so that it can receive the metallic paints. The latter are obviously exclusive (and, unfortunately, very expensive): they are applied in successive coats in a pressurized booth, finished with a clearcoat of exceptional shine and dried for 72 hours. Only now, after a final polishing, are the various parts of the furniture ready for assembly.
The metal grilles are wide-meshed to ensure maximum transparency to the sound; due to the particular type of material used they cannot be printed but are individually shaped by a skilled panel beater. It is clear that ONE PF furniture can only be built in small series and at the cost of great inconvenience: exclusive objects, for amateurs.
The transducers are specifically designed and made to our specifications by two of the best European companies (SEAS and SCANSPEAK). The woofer it uses a membrane made with a newly formulated polymer and is characterized at first glance by a rather unusual nose cone, the result of extensive research and development work. This device allows you to optimize mid-range performance without introducing coloration, to perfectly focus the sound image and to improve the dissipation of the entire electrical complex.romagnetic. In the woofer the nose cone in question is made by turning very pure copper, a very expensive material which however enhances its function, especially with regards to the heat dissipation effect produced by the voice coil. The tweeter The soft dome is a SCANSPEAK D 2905 with a new membrane in silky fabric, treated by hand with a particular process, in several steps, which allows perfect damping without increasing the mass, to the full advantage of the response speed.
The high quality of the transducers used allows us to use a first order crossover (6 dB/oct.) without any compensation network, a solution particularly appreciated in the "audiophile" sector. Furthermore, the circuit topologies and implementation techniques take into account the precious experiences gained over years of creations known for their exceptional musicality.
Also the passive components it is of great quality; the SOLO CFAC inductors are made with a thin OFC copper ribbon, the ACOUSTICAL AUDIOCAP PPFF capacitors in polypropylene film & foil as well as the special anti-inductive resistors are produced to our specifications and stand out for their excellent musical qualities, the cable is made starting from a multi-wire system for very high performance computer networks. The four input terminals allow any type of connection; the complete separation of the masses allows both bi-wiring (highly recommended) and possible bi-amping.

Respons Baby Grand spiller meget åpent, har et fint frekvensregister og et godt fundament nedover. De låter svært naturtro, og har ikke den skarpheten i øvre mellomtone som svært mange andre høyttalere har. Med min elektronikk (Musical Innovation), så låter de også både dynamisk og kroppslig...
