Rossini er en helt ny d/a konverter fra dCS som kan avspille alt fra 16/44,1Khz og opptil 24/384Khz, I tillegg kan den avspille DoP (DSD via PCM), DSD64 og DSD128. Rossini har også en egenutviklet nettverksløsning som kan avspille musikk fra din NAS eller online strømmingstjenester som Spotify, Deezer, Tidal m.flere. Du kan også benytte Apple produkter via Airplay. Alt styres via en nedlastbar App til ditt nettbrett eller smarttelefon, og her finnes alle funksjoner og tjenester, ink. muligheten til å oppdatere all software innvendig Rossini via internett når nye funksjoner eller lydforbedringer lanseres.
Rossini kan leveres med og uten drivverk, og kan suppleres med en Rossini Master klokke for ytterligere lydforbedring.
Hifi+ er en av de første som har testet dCS Rossini, og her er et par utdrag:

But this detail is now joined to a sense of cogent musical integrity and coherence that simply beguiles the listener. The functionality is significantly improved, the connectivity is substantially better, but more importantly, unless you are playing SACD discs the older models just don’t sound as good as the Rossini."
