Reglene er på plass. Det er viktig å understreke at Christopher Walken ikke bryr seg filla om farvekombinasjoner, Euroregler og slikt nonsens.
Christopher Walkens regler gjelder bare selve sykkelen. Husk å søke om et ekte badass Walken Approval Decal!
The Rules:
The Rules:
1. The drop from the top of the saddle to the top of handlebars must be a minimum of 10 centimetres. More drop than this is highly encouraged. Handlebar drop is of utmost importance. Christopher Walken does not care if your back hurts. Harden the fuck up and get used to it.
2. Handlebars shall have at least 135mm drop. Christopher Walken does not drop down in the bars for show. Compact handlebars are only allowed if the drop from top of saddle to handlebar top is more than 12 centimetres, or if the bicycle has a top tube length of less than 52 centimetres. In the latter case, the minimum allowed drop from top saddle to top handlebars is 7 centimetres.
3. No form of Shimano componentry whatsoever shall come in contact with your bike. A full Campagnolo gruppo is neccesary for approval. The exceptions are Simplex (for vintage bikes) and SRAM Red (for US bicycles).
4. Carbon clinchers are expressly forbidden, in any shape or form. All rims deeper than 35mm shall be tubular. Riding tubulars at all times is encouraged.
5. Stems shall have a negative angle. Length is not important, but it must not be less than 100mm.
6. Cranksets should be standard sized. Compact cranks are frowned upon, but Christopher approves if the reason for using such a crankset is good, i.e. if one regurlarly rides Zoncolan or Angrilu. It is recommended to use a larger cassette rather than a compact crankset, but cassettes must not, under any circumstance, be larger than 12-27. For compact cranksets, the maximum allowed cassette size is 12-25.
