Shanling A-300
Think Large
Shanling-a sourous
At 66 pounds and !8 x 19 x 7, the Shanling A300 is
the largest hybrid amplifier we have seen. Quality
speaks loudly for this behemoth, as it smoothly
delivers over 200 watts of Mosfet power per channel
into 8 ohms and 280 watts into 4 ohms.
Large Design
The A300's hybrid design is dual mono and features
an input buffer circuitry using two 6922 vacuum
tubes. The solid state output stage uses four pairs
of Sanken 2SA1295 / 2SC3264 output transistors
per channel, for stability, reliability, and control that
solid state circuitry offers. The A300 incorporates
two large independent power transformers one per
channel. For high current stability and dynamics, the
A300 features a bank of capacitors providing a
massive 80,000 microfarads of reserve power. A
premium ALPS motorized potentiometer provides
noise-free control.
Large Features
The front panel also includes a headphone monitor
output that uses the tube circuitry of the preamp
stage for warm and detailed sound. On the
connection side, the Shanlling offers four pairs of
RCA inputs, plus two pairs of balanced XLR inputs.
There's also a preamp output plus a final stage
input. Also included with the A300 is a full function
wireless remote that makes operation even more of
a stoned pleasure.
