«I'm always surprised to read so many posts about turntables in a "High Fidelity" focused forum / group.
Turntables cannot be considered High Fidelity anywhere since 40 years. A source that is not even able to reproduce the silences of the music is far , far, from being qualified for the term "High Fidelity".
No doubt that it can sound good, and that the distorsion, the lack of dynamic, frequency non-linearity are not an issue for most, and that the charm of vintage sound with noises and sound artefacts can be enjoyable from time to time.
But it's definitely "LOW FI".
Edit : as an answer to some comments : the above is not an opinion. Let me explain the difference between facts and opinions : Having people who think that the Earth is flat : does it mean that those who know that it's a sphere just have an "opinion" ?»
Noen som har synspunkter her?
