Details:
A microprocessor controls all functions and informs about the system state via a big display. The processor watches temperature, overload, DC and HF. Inputs, headphone, loudspeakers and preamplifier output are separately switchable. All inputs can be named via menus. A wrong mains phase is detected and displayed. All functions can be controlled remotely.
Gold-plated, Teflon insulated input sockets. Switching via gold-coated precision relays. Level adjustment via ALPS motor-driven potentiometer. The input stage contains extremely low-noise monolithic double difference amplifiers. Decoupling is done through several followers; therefore nearly infinite input impedance and constant input capacity are attained.
A fast correction stage locally eliminates distortion. The power stage has two power MOSFETs per channel. The outputs have gold-plated loudspeaker terminals. There are 700 VA toroid core transformers with separate windings for input and power stages.
The two special audio capacitors each have 22,000 uF. There are discrete and fast voltage regulators and a separated power supply for the control unit. SMD miniature technology is implemented for the best high frequency properties and shortest signal paths.
The SAM V2 can be equipped with the intelligent remote commander SRC-2010, phono module for MM and MC systems and a D/A-converter module for 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz up to 24 bit word length.
