Dette er hintene som gis om den valgte DC motoren i tråden om DC modifikasjonen på Lencoheaven: "After some experiments with the brushless versions of the dc motor which unfortunately did not give the expected outcome in terms of performance and vibration-related disturbances, I went back to consider again the good old dc motor brushed type, but choosing a model that incorporates a precious tacho generator that allows you to monitor and correct the rotation speed with the varying workload that the reading system could generate during normal operation, and in a completely automatic and imperceptible way for the listener, we will therefore have a system with traction DC current, servo-controlled, and with a wide range of choice for setting the primary speed of the DC motor.
In the latest achievements I have arrived at the choice of coupling a dc motor with a cylindrical spindle whose benefits have been satisfactory and widely discussed in previous posts, the most important regards the section that is fixed at 10mm and allows the electric motor to work at only 800 laps compared to 1400 of the ac motor, but with a torque that is close to double!"
