For de som er interesserte - de som ikke er kan overse følgende....
Følgende er hentet fra Audiokarma og dreier seg om de rensevæskene som er brukt ved Library og Congress..
"One formula uses isopropyl alchol, distilled water and Triton x-100 surfactant, the second formula is simply distilled water and Triton x-100, and the third formula is for heavy cleaning and adds a flocculant used in commerical dishwashing detergents.
Alcohol in the formulation is pretty much merely a drying agent, since it evaporates rapidly and helps dry the record surface. The key is some type of surfactant (like the Tritons) that makes "water wetter" to get down into the grooves and rinse away the crud. Adding a flocculant encapsulates the crud particles, making them bigger and easier to float away, but requires a rinse step after use to avoid redepositing and drying even bigger pieces of crud on the surface.

Hi, your first formula is almost exactly the older Library Of Congress solution, just with Triton-X whereas they use Tergito 15-S-7, and your second formula is their newer solution witht the same difference in the surfactant, so I guess both are safe to vinyl. I can tell that both work great :thmbsp: The main difference is that the LOC says to rinse in distilled water, whereas you don't find it useful if I get it right. "
Tergitol er et bløtgjøringsmiddel som brukes i lab.sammenheng, og flere diskusjoner på web'en indikerer at LDS rensevæske stort sett er destillert vann og Tergitol....
