The Sonos units have a power supply that will automatically switch for voltage.
In other words they are designed to work with either 120V or 230V so there is no
need to put "PS! 110 Volt!!!".Perhaps the plug was not all of the way into the
unit or the adapter was not working? Please check again, there should be no
potential to damage the unit.
I was told by a customer that also had his Sonos wired, once he disconnected the
wireless card performance got much better. I am unsure if the network circuit is
sleeping when hard wired.
