Analog EQ "Cello Audio Palette" Highend analog vintage gear.
lol
All About Cello
Founded in 1984 by Mr. Mark Levinson shortly after his departure from the Mark Levinson Company (now owned by Harman Specialty group and the premium audio provider for Lexus) Cello was once the pinnacle of ultimate audiophile performance in the late 1980's through most of the 1990's.
Cello was originally sold in only the best retail locations such as Christopher Hansen Ltd. in Beverly Hills, Sound Components in Miami or Glenn Poor's in Champaign, Illinois - the brand ultimately opened a New York showroom operated by Mark Levinson and a Los Angeles showroom operated by Joseph Cali (an actor known for his work in Saturday Night Fever). Unlike many audiophile companies popular in the day such as Levinson's namesake, Krell, Audio Research and Threshold - Cello marketed complete audio systems into lifestyle environments that included studio-grade acoustical
treatments, lighting control, HVAC control and beyond. In the early 1990's, this level of integration was a relatively new phenomenon
Cello Audio Palette
Designed by Dick Berwin, the Cello Audio Palette is still used nearly 20 years after its release as a studio-grade analog audio equalizer. Mark Levinson's famous 59 point potentiometer gives this shining silver audio icon the feel of a Patek Philippe watch. The Cello Audio Palette also came in an "MIV" version which allowed an Audio Palette to be a preamp as well as an EQ

CELLO AUDIO PALETTE VERY RARE EQUALIZER

Litt redigert info.
The Cello Audio Palette, when introduced quickly reached the status of the best equalizer ever seen and because of its price (approx $22,000.00) and quality (all handcrafted in the USA) and limited number, quickly became a mythic processor.
Designed by the legendary Richard Burwen at the request of Mark Levinson when he owned and was head of Cello. Under Mark Levinson's supervision this equalizer was built around the concept of "money is no object"; which created this most unique equalizer, with no equivalent, even to this day.
Built completely with discrete circuitry and all electronics being "class A" from input to output with balanced inputs and outputs throughout their signal paths, this equalizer sounds absolutely
astonishing.
This unit has had only 2 owners, an audiophile doctor and my friend. He used it in a professional environment for mastering music video by performers that included: Anita Baker, Natalie Cole, Tracy Chapman, Natalie Merchant, Linda Ronstadt, Metallica, The 3 Tenors and many others
The unit was updated and overhauled by Cello in 2001.
This unit includes: the original Cello 4 x cables (Fisher to XLR connectors), the separate Power Supply and is multiconductors/
connectors cable, and a print out of the user manual.
Cello is still in business, if maintenance is ever necessary.
Denne klasse A enheten burde passe bra sammen med ditt øvrige utstyr.
Da slipper du digital EQ på PC / MAC
