Her er noe av kommunikasjonen med selger - ikke noe å utsette på servicen der:
(Jeg var i utgangspunktet ute etter et alternativ til Oyaide i samme prisklasse - og betalte det samme for begge )
Hi , the Oyaide tonearm cable (I believe you are referring to the blue PA-2075) is a well built product with good screening abilities and adequate body on the way it presents a recording. The Silvercord Plus has entirely different design and the sonic difference is immediate evident. I am not sure what is the selling price of the Oyaide but if you are looking something in the price of the Silvercord plus, I think you should give it a try. You are more than welcome to return it if you feel that you were hoping for a different balance. We produce many other handmade OCC silver cable but the silvercord line is the least expensive one option. Ofcourse the price of the cable can vary depending on the connectors you would choose to go for. The KLE copper harmony plugs that are used on this cable as a standard is one of my favourite options since they combine a low mass single point ground design (which I find ideal for symmetrical phono cables) at an affordable cost. At the same time KLE has a very well known brand name so many customers tend to appreciate this. A very similar design is offered by the Starline RCAs at a lower price and I would certainly recommend them for someone who is not concerned about the brand name. On the other hand the WBT nextgen would drive the price of the cable quite high. Thre are not many alternatives in regards to this design of RCAs. Most RCA connectors replicate a coaxial structure (since most unbalanced cables traditionally have a coaxial structure) which has many limitations from a design point of view.
Regarding the tonearm connectors, we tend to use the 1877phono ones (straight or angled) and I would happily recommend them over much more expensive alternatives. Less expensive OEM options are also available but in my opinion they do not meet the standards of the 1877phono ones. When it comes to more expensive options, the only meaningful alternative in my opinion are the connectors by Furutech, but in such a case their extremely high prices may not be proportional to the potential sonic benefit.
As a last question, do you normally use low output MC cartridges of Moving magnet ones? This is what determines to a large extend the suitability of a cable over another. Most of our cables are designed so that they can accommodate either type of carts, but there are clear benefits in using one over the other depending on the nature of the cartridge.
If for whatever reason you feel that the cable does not meet your expectations you are welcome to try a different one, and I would be happy to cover the return postage cost.
You can see some other of our tonearm cables on our website:

The 428phono (Clio Series) is actually very similar in performance to the Silvercord, although the cables use different geometry. So going for the one over the other will not make a major difference in the sonic result. On the other hand the 423.5Phono-Litz (Gaia Series) is quite a different cable in construction, electrical characteristics and overall performance but unfortunately it is also significantly more expensive. I would recommend that you try the Silvercord Plus and if there are any elements on its performance which you find less appealing I would happily suggest any potential alternatives.
Best regards
Yannis
