Hi, i had Oppo 205 until recently, it is very good for audio, not just video. If you have a balanced amplifier it is best to use the balanced XLR output of Oppo 205 for best results. The sound is clean and detailed but smooth. I find the new ESS Sabre dac used much better than the Oppo 105.

I use the newest Furutech FP-S35N between the wall and the power conditioner and it is just amazing. I prefer it from the older Furutech cables, it has a richer sound, i just wish it was little more flexible.
