electoral college results from different States, but a grand total of 147 of them said, aha, I would like to challenge these results on the basis of, I don't like the outcome. And as a result, these 147 Republicans who had gotten tens of millions of dollars from 30 different donors have now lost 20 of those 30 major donors, their, their 20 biggest donors have now left those 147 Republicans. And those donors who say no more money to these 147 include AT&T, Comcast Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, UPS, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Marathon Petroleum, PricewaterhouseCoopers, New York Life Insurance, General Electric, Altria Group, Raytheon, Union Pacific, UBS Americas, General Motors, KPMG and Verizon Communications. A lot of defense contractors in there, you know, people who make things that are just designed to kill other human beings.
Marjorie Taylor Greene
Signaliserte at demokrater burde henrettes
Apparently Republican voters aren't happy with what their Party has become, and in the week since the Capitol riots, hundreds of voters have switched their voter registration to NOT Republican. This may be small right now, but if Democrats play it smart, they can help spur a mass exodus from the Republican Party. Farron Cousins discusses this.
A handful of federal judges have announced their retirement since Joe Biden's inauguration, and they specifically cited the fact that Trump won't get to replace them in their retirement statements. Apparently there were enough judges (from both sides of the aisle, actually) who understood the damage that Trump was doing to our judicial branch of government, and they didn't want their retirement to play into his or Mitch McConnell's hands. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.
According to new reports, it appears that Republican Senator Tom Cotton has been lying about his military service. Cotton has repeatedly claimed that he served with the Army Rangers in the Middle East, but he actually never served with them during his time in the military. Instead, he attended a Ranger course and earned a Ranger Tab, but that's about it. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what this could mean for Cotton's future.
The New York Times reported last week that Donald Trump wanted staffers at the Department of Justice to help him overturn the results of the election, and now the DOJ Inspector General will be investigating these claims. The only question is whether any investigation will lead to actual change. There are some serious problems with our government agencies right now, a lot of that due to Trump, and we need a massive overhaul to sort things out. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.
