Lightnin Hopkins. Han hadde noe på gang på tidlig 90 tall men
døde bare 41 år gammel, i søvne av et hjerteattak.
Spilte allerede som 13 åring profesjonelt, men ble opptatt av
dragracing.Det var etter en ulykke at han tok opp gitaren igjen.
Rakk å gi ut 3 album hvor dette er første, er du glad i blues,prøv
å gi han en sjanse.

Wild Billy

Denne har jeg sikkert spilt 101 ganger... Nå ble det jammen 102

The man himself. Most of this stuff is more bluesy than when Billy plays with Thee Headcoats and other bands. A lot of it is recorded in his kitchen or bathroom at home, with the mike in the bath and Billy sitting on a chair. Sound is more important than production, so don't expect any brilliant audiophile CD's in this collection. If you want a good one off record to buy, go out and get yourself a copy of "I am The Billy Childish SUB POP SP 116", although this is limited and now hard to find, this features one track from each of the 50 albums Billy has appeared on, starting from the Pop Rivets. I am sure anyone new to this music will find some of these tracks to their taste.

Jeg var fanatisk samler og hadde bortimot alt han hadde gitt ut frem til utpå 2000 tallet engang. La igjen en formue på rockshop på aker brygge i gamle dager , og bestilte mye fra England i tillegg.
