Det som er synd trist leit er at prisen på TDAI-3400 har økt en del.

Jeg sendte lyngdorf spm om dette og fikk dette svaret ekstremt raskt. Imponert over responstiden:

    Thank you for your enquiry.

The analog output of the TDAI-1120 was originally intended for connection of subwoofer(s), but many users do connect a separate power amp without problems.
The noise level will depend on the connected power amp input sensitivity and the sensitivity of the speakers. The max output voltage from the 1120 is 4V RMS. Your power amp has a sensitivity of 980mV. This means that the volume control on the 1120 will operate mainly in the low settings - you can not turn up to full volume as you would overload the power amp. If we assume a digital source playing typical modern music, the level will be close to 0dB and the level on the analog output will be close to 4V RMS if you turn up to full volume.
As most of the noise from the 1120 comes from the analog output stage, the noise will be fully amplified no matter the volume setting, as the volume is adjusted in the digital domain. So the only viable way of damping the noise is to use in line phono attenuators between the 1120 and the power amp. This will damp the signal and the noise, but as there is lots of volume range it just means that you will have to turn up volume higher to achieve the same SPL. This also means that you will have a higher level through the DA converter which theoretically gives a higher dynamic range and better resolution.

I hope this answers your questions.
