Akkurat nå snurrer Spotify og siste The Magic Numbers. En viss link til Sandy Denny er det jo:

Albumet preges av strykerarrangementene til Robert Kirby (Nick Drake, Sandy Denny, Elvis Costello), og disse skulle vise seg å bli hans siste stykke arbeid før han døde i 2009. Albumet er produsert av Valgeir Sigurdsson (Björk, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Mum) og mikset av Ben Hillier (Doves, Elbow, Blur)

Pur pop lagd for sen-sommeren.

Ja, det er en god og dekkende samling av Sandy. Er man ikke fanatiker så holder det med denne doble cd-en. The Magic Numbers skal sjekkes på Spotify, men nå er jeg midt inni King Arthur av Purcell, tolket av Gardiner foran English Baroque Soloists og Monteverdi Choir ++. Flotte saker fra 1983, her i 1985-pressing. Bildet er av coveret til 1995-pressingen hvis jeg ikke tar feil, jeg fant ikke min 1985 på nettet. Det gjør vel ikke så mye, i og med at det er den fra 1995 som er i salg i dag.
