Whats New?
CD5 XS
· Redesigned motherboard
· Updated analogue board
· Pretty much everything is new other than transformer and mech, although a new tray board
· Tray has new beam strength mounting and tray PCB
· New custom-extruded mounting brackets (uses surface area of bracket to give angle) increased rigidity on x series
· Switchable S/PDIF either have analogue or digital, but only one at a time
· Transformer-coupled digital out
· Hard wired clock regulation
· Infrared takes modulated and demodulated inputs
· 4-layer main board (rather than 2) giving better tracking and a greater copper area
NAT05 XS
· Completely new design with all new circuitry
· Naim bayonet PCB mounting of sensitive audio circuitry
· Power supply upgrade via FlatCap XS (old NAT05 had no upgrade)
· RCA/DIN or both 0 selectable outputs (as in CD player)
NAC 152 XS
· New motherboard
· Parallel inputs DIN & RCA (as with NAIT XS)
· 3.5mm front auto switching
· No monitor loop (what comes in, goes out)
· HDD replaces tape button
· Line level output for headphones
· Automatic input switching via remote
· Naim bayonet PCB mounting of sensitive audio circuitry
· Hardwired to pot terminal (less microphonic junction)

· Similar construction to NAIT XS

· Reduced Earth reference routing

· Fascia change. (FlatCap2x will remain for those who require upgrade with old fascia)
